Understanding the Community's Needs

Before embarking on the renovation project, it was imperative to understand the needs of the South Towns Tennis Club. The club had implemented Pickelball programming back in 2015. 4 blended PB courts were put in over two of the excisting tennis courts to run open plays, lessons, and programs. As particiation and growth continued the feedback from members highlighted several areas for improvement, including court surface quality, accessibility, and amenities.

  2. Installation of ramps and handrails for improved accessibility.
  3. Energy-efficient lighting systems to allow evening play.
  4. Landscaped seating areas for spectators and players to relax.

Execution and Challenges

Executing the renovation plan required meticulous coordination with contractors, suppliers, and community volunteers.
